What made you want to get into PERE (Private Equity and Real Estate)?

"The PERE industry is growing at a rapid pace which really appeals to me. The work environment is always busy and there is a huge variety of responsibilities to my job. Client service is very important in this job and I love having the opportunity to work with clients over an extended period of time."

What interests you most about your role? 

"Luckily, within our PE team we have the opportunity to be involved with the fund from the beginning. We get to experience and learn about the fund structure and its operations from the launch of the fund. As a result I'm gaining so much knowledge and experience. Additionally, I find that every fund is different so there is a great variety to the job - I'm certainly never bored!"

What led you to Centaur? 

"Truthfully, the culture within Centaur was what led me to working here. From the moment when Noel spoke to us in Maynooth about Centaur I knew I wanted to be a part of this company. Centaur really does focus on their employees by recognizing their accomplishments and rewarding their efforts. I am lucky to have great managers who have incredible knowledge and experience, and who also focus on my growth and development as a fund accountant."

How does your team stay close during remote working?

"We have a team call every morning where we catch up. Now that we are coming out of lockdown, we plan on meeting up at the office more regularly."

What is your personal motto or mantra?

“Vision without action is just a daydream”

What country do you plan to visit in the next year/two years when things are back to ‘normal’?

"No specific country in mind, anywhere sunny and a beach will keep me very happy."
