Centaur Wins Top Private Equity Award

Hot on the heels of its win at the Private Equity Awards in the US, Centaur Fund Services is delighted to announce that it has won Best Fund Administrator under $30bn at the PE Wire European Awards in London.

Centaur was voted Best Administrator by the readers of Private Equity Wire. The Private Equity Wire Awards recognise the best private equity managers, investors, consultants, advisers and service providers in a range of categories covering the entire private equity space. Voting was via an online survey of the Private Equity Wire readership.

Speaking upon receiving the award, Gavan McGuire, Head of Business Development in Centaur said, “Our Private Equity (PE) service has become a major driver of business growth for the firm and we see further strong growth potential in this area. Gavan is a Partner and Head of Business Development at Centaur and is based in London. Gavan was educated at the University of Limerick and has worked in the financial services industry since 1997. Prior to joining Centaur in November 2010 Gavan held senior roles at Citi Hedge Fund Services and BISYS Hedge Fund Services both in Dublin and in London from 2005. Gavan was prevoisly a board member of Hedge Funds Care UK, a grant making charity focused on raising funds for child welfare organizations.
