The event was entitled “A transatlantic view” and gave insight from both a European and a US perspective on the hedge fund industry.

Ronan’s session focused on the key areas of risk and corporate governance and featured a lively debate on the roles of investment managers, fund boards and service providers in ensuring that hedge fund risk is appropriately managed.

Other key themes that were covered include the increasing amount of legislation facing hedge funds throughout the world and the growing institutionalization of hedge fund investors and the implications for the hedge fund industry.
