Starz Real Estate (“Starz”) appointed Centaur to provide fund administration for its first commercial real estate debt fund at the fund’s inception in 2019. A major factor in Starz’s decision-making process was Centaur’s reputation for excellent client service and market expertise. CHALLENGE
Starz is well-known for its straightforward, no-nonsense approach to lending. When launching their first fund, they required a fund administrator who had the skills and expertise that would enable them to deliver on their promise to deliver a seamless service to their clients.
They required a global administrator that offered far more than pure fund administration services; but also guidance with respect to regulatory requirements including AIFMD, bank regulation and depositary.

Since 2019 the relationship between Starz and Centaur has grown with Centaur now servicing Starz’s funds and SPVs in Ireland, Luxembourg and Guernsey. Working closely with the Starz team, Centaur defined and delivered a detailed set-up plan to ensure the funds were set up smoothly and seamlessly.

Starz deals with a dedicated Centaur team which is clearly identifiable and responsive to their requests.
