Role Description

The role will be part of a small, highly skilled team and will work closely with teams across the business. The responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to;

  • Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the securities master universe, and the accurate processing of new securities setups
  • Design and review Funds’ valuation policies and ensure correct pricing setup in the accounting platform
  • Monitoring of foreign exchange, mark to market pricing, manual price input, pricing exceptions and stale prices
  • Development and maintenance of OTC derivatives valuation models
  • Performing analysis and enrichment of portfolio positions in the accounting platform
  • Assist fund accounting team in the investigation of discrepancies between clients, broker, vendors, modelled prices and corporate actions processing
  • Involvement in projects to improve data processing and pricing procedures
  • Act as contact and maintain a good relationship with data vendors

Required Skills / Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A university degree (B.A., B.Sc., M.B.A.) in Finance or another related discipline, together with 4 or more year’s relevant experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of market data, securities, investment instruments, valuations, corporate actions and proven experience in how to process them
  • Good knowledge of OTC complex derivatives valuation and pricing would be advantageous
  • Strong Excel expertise and proficient in Microsoft office packages
  • Strong FIS, InvestOne knowledge would be preferable
  • The successful candidates will be self-motivated and will show an ability to work in a demanding and progressive environment
