Centaur delivers independent fund administration and related services to the alternative investment fund sector from six offices worldwide. Our experienced team, contractual terms and operational excellence are core to our success and enable Centaur to deliver customized solutions based on our clients’ requirements.
Centaur provides services to a wide variety of funds, investment managers and investors located globally. These client groups range from large institutions managing multiple billions in multiple fund products to boutique managers managing single strategies.
Centaur provides services to clients in Europe, the US and Asia and has been approved after extensive due diligence processes by more than 100 institutional investor groups.
Our comprehensive range of services includes Fund Administration, Middle Office Services, Investor Services, Regulatory Services and Corporate Services with a focus on hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds, insurance linked securities funds and family offices.
Founded in 2009, Centaur is authorized and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, the Bermuda Monetary Authority and the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.

Centaur is a well-known and trusted name with large numbers of investor groups. Many of our clients have experienced strong growth since appointing us. This growth is driven largely by investments from new institutional investor groups, primarily in the US and also in Europe and Asia. Each of these groups has carried out extensive due diligence and subsequently approved Centaur. Centaur has never failed an investor due diligence review and is approved by many institutional allocators.

We take contractual responsibility by signing up to detailed deliverables in legally binding Administration and Service Level Agreements.. Centaur also takes an active role in areas such as Valuation Committee and Audit Committee meetings.
